Why is water wet? -Shayne
Well Shayne, you see, first we need to define, "wet". After you spend even more, "countless hours" looking up the defintiion of that, you will find that water is wet so that the fish and other ocean, lake and river creatures can move through it easily. When you are trying to move, friction is not your friend. Just like me. We need to be able to drink something other than WD40 (which is good, try it sometime), and that is why water is wet.
What's that, not good of an answer for you? Look Punk, water is wet because we feel it as wet. Our sensations say it is. We feel wetness. Just like when you go swimming, or have a shower, bitch.
If you can't understand me so far, then you can't understand this next part either. The question of why water is wet, can't be answered by normal science, but only Zen Physics. Water is wet, because it is the nature of water. The nature of the rainbow is to be colourful, the nature of a pillow is to be soft, and the nature of you is to be stupid. If water was to stop being wet, then its true nature would not be water anymore. It may be ice or steam, but not water. Water begets wetness. Water is wet because I say it is wet, asshole, and you suck because I say so, and I am always right. Asshole.
